Forgiveness...Free at last.

It has been approximately 4o plus years that this family feud existed in this family and community but strange, I read somewhere on twitter today....Exciting things happening in our communities...which prompted me to blog this true experience ie forgiveness and healing in our community. We are all about honouring, at the Impact Direct ministries you will honour your seniors and leaders at all times. It is the right thing to do. The word of God teaches us to honour our parents. Now in the community where I come from everyone is related to everyone. Many of our senior citizens had a hard life I always listen at the way they talk about their past. They will always say that life was not easy, some were separated from their families at a young age. Some were given new names while others forced to work at a very young age. They survived abuse, rejection and discrimination some wounds are healed some are not. Our Monday seniors club started the new year on the 1 February. Everybody was excited to be back it was kisses and hugs the whole morning. We did not have a set program for the morning, because our moms and dads wanted to share their experiences and adventures. Now it's two weeks later and the group has reminded me that February is the month of love. I asked them what they have in mind, they said that they wanted to have a Valentines morning. Well I was very pleased with the ideas given by our seniors. They brought cakes, chips, chocolates and other luxuries. We had a very healthy lunch made by our volunteers. Mr.Meyer was crowded Mr. Valentine by the way he celebrated his 70th birthday on the 14th Feb. Aunty Maud was crowned Mrs. Valentine she was so surprised, because of the quiet person she is, she was shining. Mrs Murtz is the most senior person in the group she was crowned Mrs. Personality, we had fun with the way sh acted. Faithful Mr.Petersen was crowned prince Charming.
