Hi all, I am Salma Richards,a parent with 3 adult children. I am told I am a chatterbox,empathetic and determined{just a bit slower}. My interests are reading,gardening,home crafts and the outdoors.It took an accident that happened 16 years ago to make me realize that the choices we make will determine the quality of life we will lead.It was, and is a long, hard road to get to where I am today. Imagine,having to learn to write,walk,remember,eat,cook,dress and just about everything we teach a toddler to do, well it took me 16 long,trying and very difficult years to become the person I am today! I have now realized it's my Creators mercy at giving me a real second chance at life .I now try not to offend  people and also to be more tolerant because my family and friends had the patience to guide and teach me simple things that you would take for granted.Thank you once again to RLabs facilitators and all who in the past and present taught,helped and guided me.MWAH.

Hi there my name is Carol My journey with RLabs has been such a great experience,I have learnt so much over the past 3weeks. It is with great pleasure to take back to the community what i have learnt as there are so many kids out there roaming the streets with all the wrong doings.I think if they could all get to know about RLabs it will be such an investment for their future. Gooday there I Ray Johnson I live in Kalksteenfontein we are seven childrens my parents was poor.I learn alot by my parents I'm a good person today.I dont have so much learn in school went my father died my mom,brothers and sister have go work.I much clean and make food for them and my married was not so good.But I'm a good woman today with 2 childrens and 2 grandchildrens.Today we 5 childrens no parents and my hushand also died. Today marks the day that 25 more women contributed to the RLabs Moms blog on Blogger. The Moms blog started in September 2008 when we ran the first ever Moms2.0 Cafe Session. That marked the start of this 9 year journey with more than 1600 blog posts published to date. We started the morning of 25 March 2017 with a check-in where the Moms had to tell a story about a photo up on the screen. Each photo was of a mom in the class and they had to share what they saw when looking at the photo. The moms then continued with google apps, that they started on last week. They managed to search their addresses and also managed to find their homes on google maps. After the break the Moms then took time to listen and watch a video of one of the facilitators: Suzanne Smith, that was aired on SABC Morning Live in 2015.   Hi there I'm Roekeya Simon I was a working mom all the years of my life .  But  unfortunately I  am now unemployed being retrenched due to my boss had sudden illness, passed on in July 2016.  Trying to see myself being a housewife but it is not possible.  Have three sons they are all married .  My husband also retired he was on building (tiler) .   My friend told me about Rlabs I told my husband cannot feel so board need to do something to keep me busy. I registered at Rlabs.   I am very happy I did this the Moms class to me is really a new beginning in my life as well as new Mindset new intentions  new results . This is an improvement to uplift myself motivates me to greater things in life. The best thing is meeting with different people interact with all on different levels. I can only thank G God for all the facilitators at RLabs.

The Journey Begins. My name is Mu'minah Salie, aged 44. I am married and a house executive. I'm a proud Mom of two dependants and a two year old grandson. I currently stay with my parents on a seperate entrance in Manenberg,Cape Town. When I look back, my journey started at the tender age of 4years old and 40years later I only now see and realise the impact it may have had on me. Yes, at times we may not always know or even understand why things happen or unfold the way they do, but as we progress in life, we start putting the puzzle pieces together. Make no mistake that in order for you to like take the bull by the horns, you need to like really dig deep, uprooting all of those stuck, negativity in order to move forward with total love, joy and ease.We all have a story to tell and the world out there is waiting on yours. Hi there I'm Helen, I am 52 years old .I stayed in Kewtown before i got married .I am married for 27 years i have 2 sons Bradley and Lucian.Now I'm staying in Mitchells Plain for 27 years.I worked in retail at the age of 15 years old.Now I'm not working any more,sins I'm at home i did gardening ,went to a craft class ,sewing class,cooking for my family doing house work. During the week i also go to morning prayer meetings and sunday afternoon we do  out reach in Bellville giving food to those staing on the street . Hi Ladies  Im Thandi. I learn the moms computer in Rlabs I learn more in this three weeks time. That information  and knowledge  i get here i implement in my community. I want to show the youth and woman  are not working theres not the end of their life.They stand up i try teach  to teach them and i told them wake up. I told my neighbors first to do food gardening to help theirs and the community in large.I told the youth about Rlabs Academy to do the lots of skill to do for their future.

Hi  my name is Felicia Ngewu I feel very greatfull and hournerd to be accepted in RLabs Moms class.The first time I see young people here, I felt negative about them.Because I thought, I've come to waste my time here. Now I'm very sorry about those bad thoughts about you RLabs staff. It is true that you must never judge the book by its cover, cause you are going to miss something that is very valuable in your life, I now wish to do the same course again because of my 3 incidents,which made me to loose my concentratio n in so much that I use to loose my way out of the toilet.I had 3 burgles at home27th of Feb,4th and7th of March. Hi there my name is Elthia Hope all is well. I am a 42 year old single mom. I have two kids age 18 and 11. I decided to come to RLabs to learn more. I am really enjoying the classes and I am learning a lot. I am doing this for experience and to better myself, especially in my working career. I am very eager to learn anything. I am Naomi Albertyn and I started with Rlabs last year 2016 after a friend invited me to her graduation. The experience was so wonderful and while visiting the various marquees and listening to the stories of Hope I decided to equip myself. The journey thus far is so exciting that I would like to continue God willing. I look after my 92 year old mom and also after a friends 2 children of 6 years old which is a boy and his sister of 4 months. In the year 2000 God called me from my job as a debt collector from the company I worked at. A colleague of mine who had the same vision after much prayer and discussion resigned from the company and in August of that year did a training cause as Home Base Carers. We started doing voluntary work in the communities where needed and by referrals. We enjoyed what we did especially for the elderly and the infirm and also taking them to hospital and shopping. Hi RLabs mom  I come from a big  family I am the youngest I got married very early I was only in STD6 to also had a big big family. But when things got turf I decided to go back to school. I enrolled at ST FRANCIS NIGHT SCHOOL and passed my matric at age 75  

Hi there my name is Latiefa Ishmail. I am an Aafiyah Healing Practitioner. I have attended the Aafiyah course in March 2014. I was one of those people who thought It was not necessary for to have a phone or to be computer literate.  Being an  Aafiyah Healing practitioner  I had to change my mindset because we posting our experiences with our  clients on social media only if client is OK with it, withholding the clients names. This is where RLabs is featuring. I have joined the RLabs moms class to learn  how to use social media. I am enjoying this class thoroughly because the facilitators are so patient with us. So happy to be happy to be in this class.

Hi there Denise here I am fourty seven years old,got three children. I lived in Elsies  River for all my life. Living in Elsies River was taught because there is gangsters, breaking in and many other things. But know coming out of this life exsperience Im a stronger person. I can learn my children the right and the wrong and to be positive. Like my pastor always say something must go wrong before it goes right.
