Hey there everyone!!! My name is Tracey Seragie and I live in Bridgetown, which is in the beautiful city of Cape Town. I am currently in matric at Pinelands High school, and I'm about to start with my final exams. Next year, I intend on doing a foundational course in Interior Design at College of Cape Town, and thereafter I plan to study Interior Design at Cape Peninsula University Of Technology. In the future, I plan on having my own company in the design industry, which would mainly render a service to people, but would also bring a smile to their faces, once the job has been completed. And yes, my goal is to eventually end up on " Top Billing" (LOL). I would just like to encourage all the young people in our local communities to just stay in school and to be focused at all times. With the buzz around the Mom 2.0 and the women who are using technology to empower other women and children, today was an exciting time for many of the ladies as they started with the first phase of their cafe sessions. One of the key elements of empowerment using technology is the Communication pillar. The first technology that we introduced to them was email. All of the ladies created a gmail email account and sent each other email by the end of their session. This great achievement for many of them was being able to overcome their fear of technology and actually typing (even though it was slow) with no pressure at all. Seeing these ladies achieving what they did today really brought me so much joy. Even though some struggle to read and write, but with the help of other women and the reconstructed team they were able to send emails against all odds. As we continue to expand the different ways in which the women communicate, we are keen to see how they engage with the different techn
