THRU THEIR LIFE-CHANGING EXPERIENCES, THEY HAVE COME OUT TOPS IN WHICHEVER FIELD THEY TOOK ON, BEING EDUCATING THE SCHOOL KIDS ON ABSTAINING FROM DRUGS, TEACHING OUR MOMS THE COMPORT , DOING DRUG COUNSELLING , CELLPHONE COUNSELLING , DOING HOLIDAY PROGRAMMES WITH THE COMMUNITY CHILDREN, AND SO MUCH MORE. ALSO TO MARLON, THANK YOU FOR THE TIME U TOOK TO EDUCATE THESE YOUNG MEN IN WHAT THEY ARE DOING NOW. BLESS YOU MAN, BECAUSE YOU GAVE OF YOURSELF UNSELFISHLY TO EDUCATE THEM, AND IT IS A JOB WELL DONE. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN FOR GETTING US MOMS STARTED ON OUR CELLPHONES. Thanks to the guys at rlabs, we have learnt such a lot during the time that we have been attending classes. We know how to access email, facebook, blogging, twitter, youtube and more. Our Monday seniors had their party at the Impact centre. It was a grand occasion our ladies and gents went out of their way all dressed up. They were all made up because it was what they organised, the Impact ladies only assisted. The hall was made up in white and blue, the menu was set it was lovely good food. We had a programme for the morning . Someone from the Dementia organisation gave a talk which the seniors enjoyed. Pastor Jenny gave speech and thanked the senior for their faithfulness and commitment. Mrs Murts she is the most senior person in the group she gave a heartwarming speech. Aunty Ellen really surprised the staff and volunteers, she had a gift for everyone. All the seniors received an attendance certificate and were they proud. Their arts and crafts were all on display our visitors could not believe that our seniors were so creative. They made photo frames, jewelery boxes, clocks and other items. The music was very relaxing and everyone just enjoyed the fellows

As Mom 2.0 are drawing to a close seeing the mothers and women from the local community working hard and engaging using Social Media is so encouraging. This year's graduates will be finishing off the year in style at a Gala Event on 23 December.

Hi moms our keep fit club had a very enjoyable on the 5th November we came 1st in our line dancing Our club did about three demonstrations for the public about woman and child abuse .We all so were involve in the aids campaign at the Dayhospital in Kewtown. We our club are all so invited to take part in another festival on the 16th December in Kewtown opposite the Athlone Civic Centre.I would like the public to support the festival because the drugs selling in Kewtown is very dangerous.The S.A.P. does not go into the flats because they can get gun down or trap , I am asking how can we the caring public do something about it , I know they the Drug merchants is still very busy especially this time of the yer

today marks the end of the fourth school term.comes with feelings of what am i going to do to keep the children occupied,now i can sleep a bit late.what about our children who are home alone where mom and dad gets annual leave.are there holiday programes in place to accomodate our children.please parents put your childrenin somebody's care who is responsible.to the children, listen to instruction.do what you are asked or told to do.enjoy your holidays all.HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE

As we come to the end of the year, I look back and see just how busy my church has been this past year. We have had campaigns, baptisms, various workshops, outings, talks on interesting subjects, youth camps, picnics and outings and more. Shoo! what a year we've had! There has been nominations for new church officers for 2010 to serve in the various departments. This was quite a mammoth task for the nominating committee. I hope that we have a successful year next year.

At the end of November and beginning of December South Africa create awareness around abuse against children and women. The campaign is 16 Days of activism. So I volunteer at Rape Crisis and this organisation is part of the campaign. The organisation has been part of the campaign since 2006 its call STOP THE BUS. This bus goes to rural areas and farms outside of Cape Town. This was my third year that I've been on the bus. My experiences on the bus this year were different to the first two. I was with a new group of ladies we grew closer by the day.We work together to spread the word of hope and to create awareness. Our coordinator Babs did a great job she allowed us to have a say in the way the facilitation has to be done. There were three facilitators one social media person one counsellor one court supporter and the bus driver. We left Cape town on the 30November at 9am we took the N1. i am so proud of my daughter she has pass to grade 11 and i hope and pray that god will guide and give the courage to keep up the good work my son is not so bright in school but he is doing good hope he pass he received a diploma for natural science i would like to congratulate all primary and high school pupils that passed especially the matrics and for all pupils that did not pass dont give up hope try again Jesus loves you and will always watch over all of you enjoy your holidays

morning world how are you wonderful people today?OK here we go again its that time of year again school holidays yipe now i have my daughter 24 seven. Parents please be alert for your children make name tags we do shopping and the shops are so full its so easy for them to get lost.Treasure them like theirs no tomorrow. I recently lost a dear friend of mine and her name was LYNNE BARNES she was only 24 years old and for that 24 years she was suffering,she waited for a DONOR she eventually got a DONOR and had the operation done it took 12 hours everything went as planned but we all know we make plans but GOD has Betta plans for us.we were told it was a great success but we have to wait for seven days then only she will be out of danger and on the fifth day she passed on,so parents don't let anybody tell you that you spoiling your kids you give them what you can and when you can.

This day was started with so much sadness as my life long neighbour,brother and friend departed this earth at 3.30am today. The family is so devastated as they have not experienced any loss before.Mr Reggie Adams has surely left a legacy as he was a real good samaritan to our community and where ever he found himself. Its amazing how God uses his children to intervene at times like this.The Holy Spirit evoked me to be in prayer for them this whole morning as it pertained to my christian duty.The peace of God that surpasses all understanding truly hovered over them.During prayer I really sensed the nearness of the Holy spirit as peace and calmness reigned on all. Therefore we as humans should really live as if each day is our last.As the saying goes tomorrow is promised to no one.May God,s love be with one and all this day and this approaching festive season a true remembrance of our love for one another.

enjoyed our family from the uk namely,sheila,quince and craig.thanx to our driver mikey,our tour guide kyle jonck.we accompanied them on a trip around the peninsula(jemima and I).what an experience.sheila was greatand the guys o my word they were good company.i will do it again.it is just so amazing how God brings us together and how we just love and accept each other. our GOD is just so amazing.that is only one reason why i love him

The school ends on Friday the 11th December for the year 2009. Now what are we as the caregivers, grandparents, and nanny's going to do with the kids to keep them occupied. We will have to work out what projects we are going to do, be it arts and crafts, u can get books at the library, painting, knitting sewing, any water sports, games, etc there is so much that we can do to keep them occupied. I think now is a gud time to keep them away from the T.V. They tend to become couch potatoes, which won't do them any good. We can take them to the beach, movies, providing the parents contribute, haha, lol, it can be very expensive if you have 5 grand kids to provide for. I love doing projects with my grandkids, like making bowls, vases with coke bottles, money boxes with balloons, etc using paper mache'. They love eating a lot, feed them a good breakfast, lots of fruit, them they won't nibble of luxuries so much. Set up a space for them seperately with tables and c

All the knowledge gained throughout this year, can not be compared to my leap of faith in october 2oo8,empowering my community through technology,No tuition fees to offer, as unemployed, community housewives we were.Taking this offer.with not a clue of how this challenge will develope for dry and dormant students of the 60s and 70s we were, wanting to be taught again after almost forty years it seemed. Only the honour of being allowed to learn this technology of which we have never heard.This acceptance of it, placed me way above my wildest dreams and challenges. Our very own internet cafe.being named,Mom2.zero whereas mom4rm.zero, would have been more applicable. We were so doff at the start,too afraid to touch that mouse,thinking it may just come alive.Technology became such a challenge to us moms,knowing the youth outsmarted us by far.
