I was in awe when I was accepted at Rlabs.I still think that I'm dreaming.Fear drove me never to want to try new things. Now that I have knowledge it make me want to achieve more and want to learn more.I always tell my kids how much potential they've  got but forgot about my own potential and gifts.Inside of me I realized I've got the ability to achieve doesn't matter my age.Rlabs thank you for this  wonderful opportunity.

Allisons Journey at Rlab

When i first started at Rlabs i was very nervous because i did know what was expected of me, but as i went along found the classes very interesting and found that i learnt quiet a bit. I must admit that i found it rather challenging because there are many things to remember. I find that others learn faster than others so one has to have a lot of patients.I
My third week at rlabs, what an amazing experience. All the staff at rlabs is very help full.I made allot of friends. We the moms8.0 are like sisters now.I truly enjoy myself at rlabs.Thanking God who declares in his word behold I make everything new and I'm glad I did not let this opportunity pass me by.I look forward to come and learn as much as possible.thank you Rlabs team.

My journey with Rlabs started in 2010 when i started with the moms 2.0 Class and all that I can say now is I'm glad I didn't let the opportunity pass my by. I am today proud to say I'm giving back to my community By just seeing the moms and what they are capable of doing brings joy to my heart  and seeing the smiles on their faces makes me realise that this is why I'm doing what I'm doing.

Barbara' Journey at Rlabs

My journey at Rlabs was so far and exiting experience, and i cant wait to start doing every thing i learned and apply it to my daily life. This is my time now to do the things i always wanted to do,and that u never to old to do these things and reach for the sky. I thing are children look at us as parents     also as role models so we must to practice what we preach.

Roselyn's Journey at Rlabs

I   really  enjoyed the past three weeks at rlabs . Reason why is because i have learnt alot about the  computer.  I  now have my own gmail address and now know how  to google .To the tell you the honest truth  things that look like  Deutsch to me , i fully understand. I would like to thank rlabs aca emy as well as the friendly facilitators for having so much patience and guiding us through the course thus far. Only pain full thing was to realise that Samashni Lenaise was not going to  end the course with us because of her sudden death, but will always be in our hearts and minds. She will be sadly missed by all of us.Keep up with the good work  .

charmaines journey at rlabs

Before i came here at rlabs i knew nothing about computers. As the the past three weeks went by i really learnt allot. I now have my own GMail account and i am very impress with the facilitator's here at rlabs for teaching me.What i learned here at rlabs will get me to do what i always wanted to do. That is to be computer literate and running my own business one day. The ladies here at rlabs is very patient with each and every one of us. One of the facilitator's here at rlabs past away and that for me was very sad. The reason is because they all really made an impact in my life. Cause its not everybody that have the patients that they have. For the short period of time that i knew Lenaice she really was one, that had allot of patients and she was a peoples person. So to me its a big-ups for the rlab ladies. To me this is a journey that i can and never will forget.

dolores journey at Rlabs

I'm a single mother of two beautiful little girls,i am unemployed and devote all of my time to my kids,I heard about Rlabs by a aunt of mine. The three weeks i have been with Rlabs is amazing, the people I have met are amazing. Carmen....my journey at Rlabs

It's only been 3 weeks with my group and yet it feels like we've known each other forever. The highlight of my journey has thus far been learning new things about the Internet and the feeling of accomplishment after a class. The saddest part of this journey has been losing a facilitator we have just learned to love....Lenaise your presence here today was sorely missed, your commanding voice is something i will always remember, may your soul rest in peace. Time flies so quickly, as we have just 2 more weeks until our course is done, may the journey continue!Thank you Rlabs! PS.....loving the music we work too..thank you Luther!!!

We were saddened to have her depart this earth on Tuesday, 24 February 2015. It was sudden and a shock to many. Lenaise just facilitated this very class a week ago and today we had to inform the moms that one of their favourite facilitators is not coming back. Thank you to all the women over the past 7 years that have contributed to this v

when i got my third child i was exciting to find out it is another boy because i love boys.i realised there was something wrong with him because he was delayed in everything at his stage.one day i watched the 0prah show and it was about autism and that day i felt a blow to my stomach cause i knew my son was autistic, from there my journey begun with him.my whole life was about him i was entering an unknown world with him,i had to focus on a husband a marriage ,two normal kids and how im gonna fit him into that world.i thought i had the perfect marriage but when we went for counseling they told us not all marriages survive.obviously with him u must have patience and faith because when u alone u must believe in something.my husband started working alot and after a while with everything that happened we divorced.i had to protect my kids especially my last born because he could not understand obviously it is hard but i would not have it any other way .i can not imagine my life without him

My blessing in disguise

Good day my name is Rafeeqah Khan.I stay in Hanover Park.I am married with three sons. As a mother I want to give my kids the best and shelter them from harm as any mother would. But with that comes great responsibility. My youngest son was diagnosed with Autism .When I found out I was shattered.I thought I did something wrong during my pregnancy. As I did research I was surprised to learn that it was not my fault at all.Life as I know  it has changed.I find myself crying a lot because I fear what the future holds for my little ray of sunshine.I fear what will happen to him when I am no longer there. But I have also come to realize that my son is as normal as any other child.Yes he might have a speech problem and struggles to communicate, but he has also made a lot of progress. And therefore I am grateful.

Our kids a special and they need to be treasured. with all the issues if the world, we need to be there for our kids. being at RLABS, made me realized that i need to equipped and empower myself so that i can be available to assist them when they need me. Our kids always look at us as there idols , so  its all starts with us and I believe we need to set the correct example. A HUG , I LOVE YOU , WELL DONE and I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU , goes alone way. So , parents let just embarrassed being parents !!!

My expirience at Rlabs institution

The first time I heard about their courses I was attending the workshop at Bishoplevis. The same day I notice they did find the best training because of their good attitude. Then it’s when I decide to join them. I already attending three weeks and every day I learn something new. If I can describe them they acting as leaders not as boss because boss always says do it but a leader show you and motivate you and with you slowly but surely you end up good whatever you doing. As for the seven following weeks I am hoping to gain more knowledge. To compare the past three weeks I already learn few things which is great. For now is all I can say.

Reader's journal

I love reading.I think it is very important to read. It takes your mind of everything. It relaxes you.Reading is also good for children. It helps them in their schoolwork. It empowers them for work, motivates them and keep them out of trouble. I love going to the library every second week. They have great competitions for children every scool holidays.Children are confident when they read alot.

Gourmet food

I am passionate about food, not just any food. Good food made with fresh ingredients.  Looking back it actually started at a young age in my mother’s kitchen. She was a nurse which a job of long hours and being the oldest of eight children it meant I had to run the household, including putting food on the table for my father and siblings. That’s when the experimenting started with food. Being married and having two daughters just continued the process.  Now years later my girls are married and not being able to get any work because of being either over skilled or too old, I decided take make that passion a career. Those years of experimenting is paying off. I booked myself into a good cooking school for a short course just to get the basics of gourmet food. I learned so much about the different ways of cooking, especially fish. Do you know how many different fish there is. I grew up with hake, snoek, hardes and some fish on a bunch. I only knew about frying, steaming and grill

Introduction to R-Labs - Moms 8.0

My first day at –labs was so exciting. I was so nervous at first but the facilitators really put us all at ease and made us feel welcome. They even spoilt us by giving us a manicure. I really enjoy the classes as it is empowering me and I do feel more confident when applying what I’ve learnt at home. I must say that the coffee and the doughnuts that we get are also appreciated. My son also comes to leadership and dig-kids classes and now we can share our skills that we have learnt here is so nice that we are on the same level with social media.LOL, they say you never too old to learn. Have a blessed week ladies. Happy socializing and keep smiling.
