A week at the centre

I had an exciting week and need a good rest. It was the last week of our seniors`s and our aftercare kid programs . It was fulfilling to see the joy and thankfulness on the childrens faces. What really stood out for me was when they thanked the guy who encouraged them for the year.The kids were prayed for, had a party and received a gift to take home.
The seniors lunch went well and on my way out of the restuarant I had a fall and had to be helped up. I dont think I had the energy to jump up.

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
