BE STILL

Today,Sunday,2nd August 2009,unfolded into a totally, totally sensual day. This incredible feeling of love and thankfullness, surfaced during our morning service at church.Throughout the whole service I had this tender feeling of HIS nearness. Visiting teens from the United Kingdom, acknowledged their way of taking everything in life for granted. The past week they were exposed to the real hardships of our teens here in our community, Bridgetown,South Africa. As they,in the UK were supplied with all their needs ie free education,no finance shortages, free medical and so many other pleasures which they have easy access to.yet all were taken for granted asif it was a matter of I MUST HAVE OR ELSE.They showed so much remorse to God for their ungratefullness and cried for HIS FORGIVENESS.They even stated that they would value their schooling days more because they always had an attitude of take it or leave it...its free,They only had to avail themselves at school to receive and I assume parents had to go with the flow. This past week they were totally shocked to find teens their age who were so below average in our entire curriculum and struggling with knowing the alphabet for starters. I found this service so very awesome.awesome in every aspect that the norm surfaced...uncontrollable tears. The Holy Spirit, enveloped me so that my heart felt shattered, Knowing so much about the struggle, torments, infact there are no descriptive adjectives to describe what our teens face at school, home and orphanages they come from.Yet they seemingly..pretend to enjoy their way of living, despite the struggles and torments. A heartfelt moment. As God says the poor will always be there. Being deprived of one.s daily needs at this tender age does make me wonder what the end result will be.... ALLOW GOD TO BE GOD... During the course of this day, this great peace was within, God was convincing me to Be Still and allow Him to intervene. His love for us will conquer all. At the City Mission School, two girls todate, has given me notes of wanting to end their lives. Through prayer and counselling, they fought back this demon of suicide. All they wanted to know was that they were loved, cherished and belonged. They are all very unique.I truely stood in the gap for these teengirls during prayer today.Their silent cry for help will be recognised more as from this day forth. This I ask in Jesus name. As Im drawing more closer to God this day, through the Holy Spirit,s presence MUST win them over to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour...Your will be done Father.
