The Unexpected

This day was started with so much sadness as my life long neighbour,brother and friend departed this earth at 3.30am today. The family is so devastated as they have not experienced any loss before.Mr Reggie Adams has surely left a legacy as he was a real good samaritan to our community and where ever he found himself.


Its amazing how God uses his children to intervene at times like this.The Holy Spirit evoked me to be in prayer for them this whole morning as it pertained to my christian duty.The peace of God that surpasses all understanding truly hovered over them.During prayer I really sensed the nearness of the Holy spirit as peace and calmness reigned on all.
Therefore we as humans should really live as if each day is our last.As the saying goes tomorrow is promised to no one.May God,s love be with one and all this day and this approaching festive season a true remembrance of our love for one another.

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
