Abigails Destiny

The vibe in the room is buzzing with anticipation as to what Julie Wills is going to talk about. After the morning being at church the women look hyped up and ready to receive, the room is filling up fast and the hot weather did not put anyone off. Monique is up and ready to record and Melissa and myself are blogging about the event, what an honour. It is nice to see more of the younger girls here with the mothers as it is important for them as well. Sharron opened with an encouraging word with lots of enthusiasm, prayer and praise, we have women with many talents in our church. The youngest lady at the meeting is only about five months old which does not know what is going on around here but being here in the presence of some strong women. Sharron introducing Julia and welcoming her back and we know that God has placed something special on her heart for us.

Silence came over the room as Julia started reading from the Bible and everyone listening very careful. Talking about Abigails Destiny, what an interesting title, as she is going more and more into the session women are starting to remember things in there own lives that is similar to what she is saying. My own daughter is with me, she is fifteen years old and i hope she takes in to what is said. Julia said something very interesting that there is not a right thing to do but only a godly way to do - POWERFUL. We women can laugh as Julia says what all women think about but never say (Prince Charming On a Donkey) . We are leaning the difference between a command and a judgement being a Christian women. She touched on a good point where there are women that take guys that needs us where in fact we need a man to take care of us.

Older women should teach the younger woman the results of judgement - and this is what proverbs is all about. If a guy does not respect and love you before you get married there is know way he will after. Talking about her own experience makes a person wonder why we never tell our own girls about how us as women should be.

Sharron then ask if there there are any questions after Julia was finish with her session. Women should grow in romance, it does not happen overnight. Abigail was one of Eight women to David, she looks to God for the answer. We as women must stop thinking we alone in this but go to other women and let them know what you going through. Marriage is not "Happy Ever After" we must work hard in a relationship. One of the women said if they had heard what was said today she would of been a different women WOW! We need to pray and fast for women that is going through difficulties in there marriage, lay it before the lord. Pastor Jenny advising women to seek council from a friend before doing something. The meeting turned into an open discussion and Fran said we have to look at our men that has a wisdom, she has three daughters and it is an eye opener for her.

As the women thanked Julia and Pastor Jenny takes over to give us an encouraging word as the meeting is coming to an end. We closed with the song " A Pure Heart" and in prayer. A perfect end of a Powerful meeting, thank you Lord!!
