Children, their wives and my grandchildren, as well as my sister from New Zealand who is busy recovering from the Christchuch earthquake, as well as one of my nephews, will all be in Cape Town in April. It will be full house for me and I am really looking forward to it.

Apart from learning to use a computer, I am also trying to learn to speak Xhosa - all things I should have learnt when I was much younger -but we are never too old to learn new skills. It only takes longer.

However nothing will interfere with either of the above courses. I am really thankful for the opportunity to participate.

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
