Electicity upgrades in our community

Mr Wazeer Davids works for the City of Cape Town,Electricity Department.

On Saturday,27th August 2011 our electricity was shut off because the city was doing maintenance work on the transformers.

He went on to explain that  they will be maintaining some and replacing some transformers.At the time he was on his way to do maintenance on the transformer.at the Re-Able Centre in Tarentaal Road,Bridgetown.He also went on.to say that the whole area's electicity supply.this could only be donewhen there is no water around because they work with 11 000 volts.A similar upgrade will be done in the rest of the area .

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
