EDINBURGH ARTS FESTIVAL TOILET EXPERIENCE

                                                          (Part One)

Visiting my niece in Edinburgh in 2010 to experience a bit of art and culture at it's annual festival was definitely a chance to explore and get a taste for this event that thousands trek to every year,a hotspot for tourists and artists alike and so a great place to be,to enjoy the atmosphere and all this type of gathering has to offer.
****One of the considerations that has become a priority with being a mature woman when travelling is the availability of toilets, something that has never been a concern South Africa. A proud and patriotic citizen of this beautiful it's the first comparison I 'd make after my experience in other contries-South Africa seen as a third world yet offers it's visitors an excellent choice of well-stocked and clean toilet facilities...London for example a first world country they say but when it comes to toilet facilities, where finding a local McDonald's or Starbucks as a pitstop is pretty common place,no obvious public toilets in site,so the one activity that appears to be devoid of any class restrictions, doesn't matter which side of London tracks you come from, when you need to pee,no exceptions.******

                                                        (Part Two)

So back to my story.....Out on a day out in Edinburgh, my niece and I happily chatted and pointed out the differences of living in a smaller town like Edinburgh -a quaint, pretty town bussling at this time of the
year with a fair amount of pitstops in place so no danger of any mishaps if the need arose. A few hours into our day out  and having enjoyed the array of street entertainers we moved on to the Grassmarket where we watched some Jazz performances on small outdoor stages....excellent atmosphere, great performers,a bit of sunshine poking through the clouds, spells of heavy rain and cold.......your typical Scotish summer's day.
