Twitter is more an information network than a social network, that connects you  to the latest ideas, stories and opinions. It is a platform that you can use or fun, business, community etc.. It was founded in San Francisco and has been running for five years now.You don't have to necessarily have to tweet when connected on twitter but can keep up to speed with stories and ideas and business and check in on what's happening. It's platform to voice stories and so help communities and the world become a better place.
Businesses use twitter to reach out to their customers, links are used to current coupons and sweets and to advertise. Its also a fun way of keeping in touch with family and friends on where you are now and also possibly hash tag the  place so they can see for themselves.
I think its a fun and interesting way of being connected.

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
