My first grandchild

My name is Marilyn Lewis.I am 56 years old. My hobby is baking.I  loved it so much, that I turned it into a business.That enabled me to be a stay at home mom.Things changed 6 years ago when my first grandson was born. I was smitten!I could never understand why grandparents spoil their grandchildren.I eventually worked it out after mine were born.Its the parents role to discipline and the grandparents job to spoil! Best job ever!

Hey Ms Marilyn - a "GRAND" Ma is a blessing to any child, you have the patience and time to chat, spoil, pay attention to all their little tricks and stories. As a Grandma you show love and kindness and you allow them the freedom to just be themselves. Enjoy your grandchildren as they grow so fast - Thank You for realising your worth and value that is invested into those little lives as so many grandparents are too busy living their own lives to realise how they are missing out on having a beautiful relatiinship with their grand kids. I salute you MA!

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
