Geeky Moms

I cannot believe we are nearing the end of 2010, but I still have a few exciting days ahead to put the cherry on my 2010. On Saturday we thought we're having our last Mom3.0 session but instead we were treated to a lovely breakfast by our wonderful facilitators. I really enjoyed my morning. I actually feel like a little girl being very excited about the graduation on the 6 th December, but I guess I will have to wait till then. My daughter is writing her last/final exam paper of her school career on 2nd December. Then it's the matric ball which is on the 10t h December. I'm walking around with a happy, sadness in me. It wasn't easy but it all worked out in the end because of the God that we put our trust in. I thank God for the people that God has placed in my life. God does not make mistakes when he place people in our lives. Even the family he has given us serves a purpose in our lives, it might not look like it sometimes. Breakfast tables were set in the foyer,i thought..how nice, not knowing that it was meant for the moms. Class was different though,i felt it the instant i walked in..there was a quiet hush in the atmosphere and i missed the normal buzz..people were whispering as if evryone knew that something good was coming to an end.I realized that to the moms it was more than just learning new skills, it was also about sharing and interacting with one another as people do when they speak the same language. Everybody was busy with their own thing, when Rene came and called us to have breakfast.It was a nice surprise,and a very appropriate idea i thought,cos it somehow managed to change the atmosphere.The team really outdone themselves this time, they gave us exactly what we needed,i went home with a beautifull neckless and some new innovative ideas.My brain has been working overtime ever since,thank you guys. As i entered the centre to come to my last class for Mom 3.0 for the year was i surprised to see a spread laid out for us. All the ladies did not arrive yet and we were told to go and check our mail and social networks while we wait. Monique was not here as she was sick with a sore throat but she was missed very much, it will be sad not to get up on a Saturday morning and get ready to come to class. It was a treat for me as i enjoyed having me time away from home and the kids. I will have to do all my networking from my cellphone from now or wait till work where i can go on the laptop. The ladies in the class are like family to me, we have been together for the year and it does not feel so long. Oh well we are connected on Facebook, twitter etc.. and wont loose touch. We are already talking about coming next year and are like little kids when they going to the next Grade. Hi i am uplifted attending the saturday morning classes at Moms 2.o i knew nothing but now it is so different i feel confident about myself it boosted my ego to communicate with outside world to learn get closer to people it is so wonderful to put your talents and vision out there inspiring people if any person feels hurt,depressed,lonely,feeling unworthy just want to tell you God loves you with flaws and failures look to positive side of life what can you as person do about your situation tell yourself i am special and wonderfully made in the image of God don't be moved what people think or say about you.Dont tell God about yr problem tell your problem how Big God is.. Every person have a season in their lives it wont always be winter ...summer must come your way. Hi Lesleyann, I hope you enjoyed your birthday yesterday.Through the grace of God my past week was devine. I Went to gym witch was good.I am at class,and Im very eager to learn quite a lot.we are going end off the year soon. The class mates are very inspiring. The tuters are so amazing and wonderfull.I am very imprest.

Wow, what a week i had, the tension at our workplace was so hectic everyone could feel it. We had some work colleagues that was being investigated for doing private work from home. It is friends of mine that i have worked long with and was quiet shock at this. The security officer for our company came to speak to the guys that was involved and he goes in depth right into your bank account. He apparently caught them at home in action, how embarrassing . Two of the guys was still apprentices and Meseta and the training centre became involved with the future of there stay with us. It looked as if what they done was nothing wrong and just wanted to know if they should take there stuff and go. Knowing with out a doubt that they are a benefit to the company and they would think long and hard if the decision they make would benefit the company or not.
