IMPACT SENIORS BUS TRIP

On Wednesday, the 25th November, we the volunteer workers took our seniors from the Impact Ministries Club and the people from the community whose feet we do, on a bus trip. We hired two double Decker buses from Inter Cape. Those buses were a great help with our moms and dads, especially those who are on medication. there were about 110 seniors and the workers were about 15. we left the centre about 9.30 and our first stop was in Sea Point where we had breakfast. From there we went on to Maiden's Cove, where we stayed and had lunch.

The weather was nice and warm, but a bit overcast. Everybody was so laid back and relaxed, just enjoying the moment of not being at home and having to care for their grand kids and the housework.

There was lots of fun and laughter going on. After everything was done, the eating, fun and laughter, we started packing up and headed back back to the Impact Centre.

At the centre, we gave each senior a gift to take home. They were quite made up with everything that took place that day
