A Session with the Seniors

What shall we say of all these things if God is for us who can be against us.I encourage myself with these words. God has promised us to keep us, If we go through the water we shall not drown and the fire shall not burn us.
I have observed some of our senior people them are still hurting the past is forever surfacing. We counsel and encourage them at there request.
Our session with the Monday seniors went well everyone was joyful and full of life. They are looking forward to the Golden games which will be held in Stellenbosch. The group loves being out and mixing with other senior citizens.

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
