Today was the first day that I was introduced to blogging, and I am very excited. I am just an ordinary mom and housewife. All this new technology that I am learning is making me very excited. I heard about Rlabs at a meeting of the UTA, which means The University of the Third Age. Hopefully I will be able to communicate with my children and grandchildren who are overseas.I find that the ladies who facilitate the classes are very helpful and patient, and the learners are friendly and helpful.I lead a very busy life .I am involved in my church and my hobbies are reading, travel and crafts.

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
