Hi my name is Luween Isaacs. I am a married woman with children. I do voluntary work at New Dawn a NGO that serves the Kewtown community. We work with children that has special needs.We have a breakfast run in the morning where we feed up to a hundred and twenty hungry kids. On a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon we have a aftercare program where we help them with schoolwork and also play and dance with them. There is also and organisation called Fusion that has also come on board to help us with the kids. I really enjoy what I do.

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
