Empowering communities

Today the Geeky moms was afforded the opportunity to have a social media surgery(sms) with the Mom4.0 classes. The moms could ask us anything they wanted to know about what they've learnt thus far in class and things they were not clear about. I had fun with the moms like I always have. In life you need to empower people when you've been empowered yourself. I just hope I was of assistance to those who was sitting at my table(in my surgery). Thanks to the Rlabs for all the opportunities given to us and for empowering the communities with your knowledge. God bless you all.

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
