Table mountain aerial cableway is aproximately 360-million years old. Characteristic view of table mountain and Cape Town seen from Bloubergstrand ravine was used to ferry materials and manpower ( the anchor points at the old top station can still seen). The cable car concept is about 80 years old. South Africa is one of the most diverse and enchanting countries in the world. With eight world heritage sites a multitude of game reserves and national parks over 1350ha landscapes, people,history and culture. South Africa offers the traveller a unique and inspiring experience.

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
