Honouring Poet James Mathews by UWC

I am appealling to all who know 82 year old James Mathews, Poet, author,
and internationnally acclaimed literary human activist  who lives in Silvertown, Athlone, South Africa,
to support my recommendation to the University of the Western Cape, South Africa,
to bestow on him an Honorary Doctorate or an appropriate honour  for his contribution to the
freedom struggle through his publications and personal  contributions in various public fora.

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
