RISE TO THE OCCASION

One of the problems in our community is the abuse of alcohol .Our young and old people don't have anything else to do with there time and because there is a lot of  places available for them to go buy wine and they  think that because there parents or parent are doing it they too must RISE TO THE OCCASION . That is what grieves me most .  I think that people in our community that don't drink must come together and just have fun together and show those people that drinking alcohol is not the way to have fun.

You can have a nice time without wine.

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
