single mom empowering herself

This is in honour of all single moms. Last week I had the privilege of meeting a single mom who is taking it upon her to empower herself, she is currently in a social media class with me. She is also passionate about helping sick children and the elderly.
I take my hat off because coming from being a single parent for a while I know its not easy, that's why I look up to her trying to further empower herself. We should not allow a man to define us but be happy with ourselves and who we are and that God created us each unique and to be proud of ourselves.

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
