Carmen....my journey at Rlabs

It's only been 3 weeks with my group and yet it feels like we've known each other forever.
The highlight of my journey has thus far been learning new things about the Internet and the feeling of accomplishment after a class.
The saddest part of this journey has been losing a facilitator we have just learned to love....Lenaise your presence here today was sorely missed,your commanding voice is something i will always remember,may your soul rest in peace.
Time flies so quickly, as we have just 2 more weeks until our course is done,may the journey continue!Thank you Rlabs!
PS.....loving the music we work too..thank you Luther!!!

Hi all, I am Salma Richards,a parent with 3 adult children. I am told I am a chatterbox,empathetic and determined{just a bit slower}. SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
