My name is Alice Meyer and I live in Bridgetown.

My highlight of the Geeky Moms class was on the first day.The warm welcome we received and the treat of having a manicure.The atmosphere among the ladies was so warm and positive and that made me realize that I made the right decision in joining this class.Just very sad to think that next week is our last class,but I've  met really wonderful ladies and its made me realize that we all going through our own personal struggles and situations. I can only hope that I've made a positive impact on others as well.

SENIORS OUTING

Good afternoon world on a lighter note,on wednesday we took our seniors around the peninsula.Our first stop was Sea Point opposite the SABC offices. Where our seniors enjoyed a snack.thereafter we went to Hout Bay where they stretched a bit.Some of our seniors interacted with the coons.Our aunty Ellen,Vicky Jonck and Freda Davids enjoyed dancing with the coons.We then went back to Maidens Cove where we served them lunch.After lunch we served them fruit and some doughnuts and juice.We then boarded the busses at 3.05 and was taken on the beach road for some more sightseeing.when we got back to the centre,our seniors were all handed a gift before they went to their respective homes.What an awesome experience.
